Cedric is the son of the senior ceremonial leader, Mr. Peter Manerburru. He was raised by his tribal father, the late Mr. Raymond Fordimail, a prominent Jawoyn leader from the Garlmayn Morwurrwurr community.
Cedric's art is highly sought after and has been exhibited on a national level. The central theme of his art focuses on the spiritual and natural wealth of his homeland. His works vividly capture the colors and sacred essence of this ancient land and its culture.
One of his notable works, Godinymayin, was chosen to be the iconic ‘rock wallaby’ sculpture at the entrance of the Godinymayin Centre.
