ETHICS AND AUTHENTICITY

The owner of Katherine Art Gallery and Top Didj & Art Gallery settled in the Northern Territory and has called Katherine home since 1979. First living and working in Katherine in 1963 and 1964. During this time a strong relationship with the aboriginal people of the Northern Territory was developed. The gallery has been involved with the Aboriginal Art Association of Australia since its foundation. This organization promotes integrity, transparency, and accountability in the indigenous art market, setting best practices for quality and ethical standards.
